We were two first time buyers who knew absolutely nothing and Dean was brilliant for us! He had a lengthy first call with us and talked us through the entire procedure answering all of our questions. Throughout the rest of our mortgage journey he got everything sorted for us and advised us of anything we needed to know. When little problems came up around our documentation he was able to advise us on ways to sort and offer alternatives. Throughout the entire procedure he also replied to any of our email queries very quickly!

Made us feel like a priority, and the service delivered is well worth the cost.
We worked with Dean during a difficult time, Banks were pulling mortgage offers at short notice and their IT systems were failing, but Dean still managed to secure us the best rate available.

Dean has been absolutely fantastic. Being from Northern Ireland originally my wife and I were unsure of the steps in buying a house here in Scotland (there are a few differences in the process). Dean walked us through every step of the process and answered our many questions. He was available at all times of the day to talk too and email. He kept us up to date with every aspect of our mortgage application and advocated strongly on our behalf to get us the best deal. We have already recommended Dean to several other friends. I would highly recommend Dean for anyone looking to get a mortgage!! We just got our first mortgage with the help of Dean and we didn’t have a clue what to do, where to start or how a mortgage even worked but we didn’t need to because we had Dean! We were kept up to date constantly throughout the whole process and both Dean and Emma were always so quick to answer any emails, phone calls or questions we had (which were a lot!!) and managed to get our whole mortgage applied for and accepted in less than 2 weeks. Dean was a joy to get all the mortgage documents sorted out with. When everything in the house buying process takes weeks and months, Dean was able to have two meetings within the same week - one to get the agreement in principle and the other to select the final mortgage offer.
Also very down to earth and doesn't complicate the process. If you need him to stop and explain, he will explain in basic terms so even thick-o's like me can understand!

Dean is very professional yet friendly. From getting me the agreement in principle, to offering advice on a few sticking points on the property, he ensure the whole process as a first time buyer was smooth and painless. He offered me various options, explaining the pros and cons of each option but I never felt pressured into any in particular.
Dean and Emma were always very quick to respond to emails which was really helpful, especially towards the end of the process. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to start the process.

We had been in contact with a mortgage broker before who stated we would require a 15% deposit and no other option was available. After speaking with Dean we applied for a 10% deposit mortgage and had an offer in less than a week - totally over the moon.
The full process was easy and well managed. Dean was always available to answer any questions I had - from someone who worries a fair bit. Even responding to emails whilst he was out of the country, you will fail to find another broker who truly cares for his clients the way in which Dean does. He settled my nerves and got us a fantastic deal, I am so glad we came across him.

After coming across your advert on TikTok I enquired and that set the ball rolling. Mortgage in principal was given, offer on a house was accepted, then a mortgage offer, then completion of a house purchase. All in all, around 41 days with Christmas and New Year in the middle. Super quick, very happy and now a home owner - I collected the keys today 🙂

I was very confused about my mortgage options and felt as if I was backed into a corner with no way out except selling so I contacted Dean after seeing his advert online. After outlining my position he talked me through a number of different options and a couple I had not thought off. It was really go to know that I had different options. I applied for the new mortgage using a new option and everything went smoothly. Dean even sent me some documents in the post which I could not print off a home. I would definitely recommend Dean even if its just to talk through your options.

We got our MIP then a week later got our mortgage offer through… we are now waiting to move into our first home. This is the first review I’ve ever done, for anything. I’ve been happy with service I’ve received before and with products I’ve bought etc, but I’ve never felt anyone has gone over and above as much as Dean has with my mortgage application. My application was complex to say the least. I was using another advisor before Dean and the service I received with the previous advisor was terrible, as soon as the other guy realised it wasn’t straight forward he lost all interest and the application dragged on for 3-4 months. (Luckily it was a new build and we got an extension on the signing of the missives). We sacked him and went with Dean and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I have no doubt if it wasn’t for Dean hounding the underwriters and literally not taking no for an answer then we wouldn’t now be waiting to move into our Dream home.

Dean is amazing, honestly couldn’t recommend him enough!! After a horrible experience with the bank and thinking I would never get a decent mortgage in principle never mind getting accepted for a mortgage, Dean was able to get me nearly double the figure for a mortgage in principle and my mortgage offer in under a week after finally securing the property I dreamed of which I would have never been able to do without dean’s guidance and advice. As a first time buyer I had no clue what to do/expect but from start to finish i was kept updated and everything explained to me so I understood exactly what was going on. As a naturally anxious easily stressed person all the stress and worry was eliminated, dean is very easy to talk too while still being professional, also helped me source a solicitor which worked out really well and helped move things along faster. Dean from the very start was very easygoing and got to work straight away! Over the moon!! As first time buyers it was so new and a scary time to be looking for advice but I cannot recommend the service Dean has provided enough! We were kept informed at all stages of our application and kept totally up to date with the requirements of first time buyers and how it all works. We were informed of all options available to us ie help to buy / first home fund. Dean provides a great knowledge of these schemes and we honestly cannot thank him enough. Dean was always available to chat to us at any time and ease any worries we had. For someone who is a stress head, Dean massively eased my worries during this time.

I would recommend Dean to anyone looking at getting a mortgage. For us, even during challenging times like the current pandemic, he managed to turn things around when we were severely let down and left high and dry by one of the well known, "big name" market leading companies.
Dean's professionalism & client-oriented service, kept us updated and informed on a regular basis, mortgage offer was received quickly and all options were laid out clearly.
Dean was always available on the end of the phone when any questions or queries needed addressed.
